My Way to Be a Graduate Student
I have been enrolled to be a graduate student for almost a year. When I re-think the way I have experienced, a lot in my mind. Not everything is going smoothly from preparation from graduate qualifying examination to swap. Especially the time graduate regulate that imprint my heart for my whole life.
I had nothing important to do at home after the postgraduate exam in 2012. Then, I choosed to have an internship in Shanghai. On the one hand I was working, at the same time waiting for examination result. On the other hand, working is a selectable way in response to fail the exam .So, after several folded I have been admitted to the Greenland Group as a human resource management trainee. There is no doubt that the time was the hardest. Everyday I was looking forward that exam results could come out earlier. In addition, I made full use of my spare time to concentrate on the swap information online. Because, if I could not go to the Nanking University, then swapping another branding school maybe acceptable .
The result came out after so much waiting. I got 359 points. Then I managed to contact with seniors in Nanking University at once to ask if I could enter the interview. The reply was YES. But unfortunately, the qualifying line point was 360. I just couldn’t reach by 1 point.
From then, I started my swapping way. At the beginning, I put my aim in Yangtze River Delta, that is the city of Shanghai, Jiangsu Province and Zhejiang Province. In the following step, I spent days going through all related reference material of schools in the region. At last, East China University of Political Science and Law, Shanghai University Of Engineering Science, Shanghai Normal University, Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics, Hangzhou Normal University were selected. I refered to the specific locations, near or far from the downtown and previous enrollment ratio, choosing Shanghai Normal University as my final goal. Firstly, it has the superior geographical position---in downtown of Shanghai; Secondly, Shanghai Normal
University has high visibility; and thirdly, It has four vacancy. That was amazing.
After the target is determined, I touched the department chairman, the vice Professor Dr. Zhang. We had several communications by telephone and Email and I got the qualification interview at last. I studied for two hours after working in every night to prepare the interview.
April 12th 2013, I will remember the day for my whole life. After the English oral test, the professional examination and interview, I realized my dream.
After the interview I walk around the campus, looking at the sky, so many beautiful pictures flowing in my mind……
