一、阅读前测试卷分析

依据小课题“在小学英语阅读教学中创设多元语境的实践研究”为主旨,对我校高段学生进行了阅读前测。阅读前测内容分为两部分,第一部分为英语情境选择题,共10题,第二部分为英语语篇阅读训练,共2篇。从词到句,从句到篇,难易程度层层递进。下面将本次试卷及学生答题情况进行分析:

1、单词的词频(Mean Log Word Frequency)。本次试卷从词汇层面来看,出现的大部分单词都需要学生学会运用,因为这些词基本都是常用单词;当然,对于人名和地名等专有名词,只要做到能够识记即可。而语境选择后五题开始出现较多使用频率相对更低些的难词,如果学生没有经过学习掌握,在做题时会是首当其冲的障碍和难点,因此学生在此部分失分较多。

2、句子的篇幅(Mean Sentence Length)。本次试卷从句子篇幅层面来看,在句子篇幅上,语篇训练比语境选择题的篇幅长了许多,所以无论是从学生的心理感觉上还是句子的实际理解难度上来看,语篇训练的难度都大幅提升,对于本身词汇量积累相对匮乏的学生而言,做起来还是比较吃力的,学生语篇失分也较为严重。

3、试卷的单词总量(Word Count)。根据新课标语言知识目标要求,二级应学习600-700个单词。本次测试出现词汇均为小学二级基本词汇。本次试卷英语语篇阅读训练较之英语情境选择题总体篇幅增加了约50个单词。部分学生因为语篇词汇量的增加望而却步,语篇训练答题结果不是很理想,失分较为严重。当然,对于基础较好的学生,单词量越大,篇幅越长,语篇的可读性和故事性等越强,学生的答题兴趣反倒会更浓,答题结果也较为理想。

二、失分原因分析

通过试卷分析发现主要存在以下问题:

1、学生不认识的单词较多,好多句子结构看不懂。

2、学生语境阅读知识面窄,阅读内容看不懂,缺乏必要的生活常识。如:“中国的三大火炉”

3、学生的英语思维能力锻炼的不够,阅读能力较弱。

三、提高学生阅读能力的努力方向

通过本次测试,今后英语教学主要在以下几个方面作进一步的努力:

1、引导学生树立语篇意识和综合意识,培养学生领会文章主旨能力。

在平时要培养学生阅读多种文体的能力、如何从文章中获取信息的能力和概括文章主旨大意的能力。在训练中要注意方法的多样化和灵活性,在阅读中培养学生的概括能力,引导学生学会从文中找主题句或从各个段落中归纳中心思想,从而提高学生领会文章主旨的能力。

2、加强英语课外阅读,提高信息素养与常识积累。

英语知识的获得与能力的提高是在不断的听、说、读、写的训练过程中逐步形成的,而教材和课堂所能提供的训练还是比较有限的,因此,要加强理解语篇的能力训练,增强英语语感。其次,训练要注意提高质量。在选择学习材料的时候,一定要依据课标和学生的实际精选材料,可以将好的材料进行优化组合,提

高学习的实效。同时要增强信息意识,培养和提高信息素养,重视运用英语解决实际问题的能力。

3、从学生做题习惯养成入手,培养好的英语阅读习惯。

学生在考试过程中不良的阅读习惯或错误的阅读方法也是不可忽视的原因。虽然这些原因不是主要的,但也直接影响着考试成绩。如阅读时爱出声、用笔和尺之类的东西指点着助读、每次只能看到一个单词、咬文嚼字。通过限时训练、传授阅读方法(跳读、略读、寻找关键词句等)改正不良阅读习惯提高阅读速度,尽可能多地为学生创造语言实践的机会,让学生通过阅读、查阅资料,利用已学知识对某个话题进行讨论、辩论、演讲或者写作等途径提高英语的应用能力。

与此同时,在今后的教学中,应该要求学生从以下几个步骤培养良好的阅读习惯,掌握一套有效的阅读方法。

第一步:通读全文,把握文章大意。

拿到阅读篇章,第一步就是要求通读全文,力争把握文章体裁和脉络,做到能够回答when(故事发生的时间)、where(故事发生的地点)、who(文章的主人公)和what(文章讲述了什么事情)等问题。

第二步:细读题干,查寻转换内容。

把握文章大意后,必须把注意力集中到文章题目上来,对于题干内容,必须要提炼出最能够说明问题的词、词组或者句型,然后再在这个基础上从文章中找出同义词、词组或者句型,这一遍带着目的读文章必须是字斟句酌、非常仔细。

第三步:扫读语块,搜索有效信息。

细读题干后,在文章相关地方找到与题干吻合的单词、词组或者句型,再在这个吻合单词、词组或者句型周围扫描,力争找到能够说明问题,帮助选择正确答案的信息。

第四步:查读题项,定位正确答案。

在第三步搜索到有效信息的基础上,就比较容易找出正确答案。
