这一话题,结合宾语从句展开教学活动的。以准备旅游,本单元是围绕”Have a good time”

开始旅游,谈论旅游,以旅游为核心主题,集中呈现一系列与旅游相关的词组短语和句型。

学习了婉转提出建议的表达方式及”请求和说明”的日常交际用语。要求掌握电脑方面的一些

用语,对电脑的部分程序操作能用英语进行表达。能读懂有关flight的一些instructions,建立24时制的时间思维方式,以及登机的有关常识。讲述了以特殊疑问词引导的宾语从句,

come on在此表示鼓励、挑战、恳求、要求等感叹语,可译作”赶快;来吧;快点”。例如:

(1)Come on, try it again! 来吧,再试一下!

(2)Come on. We are waiting for you. 快点,我们在等你呢。

(3)Come on. The film has begun.赶快,电影开始了。

2. Could you please tell me where we show our tickets?

你能告诉我们在哪里检票吗?

Could you...?句型中,Could不是过去形式,在此表示语气婉转、有礼貌。在希望得到

肯定答复的疑问句中,以及在含有表示建议、请求和征求意见语气的疑问句中,常用some 和something,而不用any和anything。

(1)Could you lend me your bike, please?

请把你的自行车借给我好吗?

(2)Would you like to have some drink?

你们想喝点什么吗?

(3)What about saying something about your family?

说说你家庭的情况好吗?

(4)Will you please give the poor boy something to eat?

请给那可怜的孩子一些吃的东西好吗?

3.Could you tell us how long we’re going to be away?

你能告诉我们要去多久吗?

此句是由连接副词how long引导的宾语从句。要注意的是在以连接代词或连接副词引

导的宾语从句中,从句的语序要用陈述句的语序。从句的时态要随主句的时态而变化。例如:(1)Do you know what time the train leaves? 你知道火车几点离开吗?

(2)No one knows why he was late last night.

没人知道他昨天晚上为什么迟到了。

(3)I want to know how many English words you have learned.

我想知道你们已经学了多少英语单词了。

(4)She asked how much it cost.她问它值多少钱。

4. What’s the number of the Smiths’ flight out of Beijing?

史密斯全家离开北京的飞机航班号是什么?

(1)flight是fly的名词形式,表示”飞行;航班”等。

例:Flight Number 6141 to Beijing is ready to leave.

去北京的6141次航班马上就要起飞了。

(2)out of从……出来(去),相对的词为into。

如:come out of the room 从房间里出来。

go into the room 到房间里去。

5. take, spend, pay, cost

四个单词意思均为”花费,使用”。

take常用于It takes(took,will take)sb sometime to do sth;spend构成的句式中,一般以”人”做主语,句型为:spend…on sth或者spend… (in)doing sth;pay构成的句式中,一般以”人”作主语,常用句型为pay sb for sth 为……付款给……,pay off…付完,偿清……;cost一般以物做主语,可以解释为”花费;价值”,它还可做名词,意思是”价值,价格”。

1 . take 耗费( 时间) ;需要( 多少时间)

〖点拨〗take 的过去式took,过去分词taken。It takes sb . some time to do sth . 某人花费多少时间做某事。

2 . rock 岩石;大石头

They found a good place in the rocks .

〖点拨〗rock 主要指巨石、暗礁,stone 主要指小石块。

3 . hardly 几乎不;简直不

’m so tired that I can hardly walk .

That is hardly possible .

There is hardly a cloud in the sky .

〖点拨〗hardly 作“简直不”讲时,多和can 连用,hardly 后面可以接用when 引导的从句,意思是“一……就……”。如:He had hardly walked into the classroom when it began to rain cats and dogs . 他刚一进教室,天就下起了大雨。

4 . sky 天空

There were no clouds in the sky .

〖点拨〗sky 通常用作单数,与定冠词连用。如有形容词修饰时,可与不定冠词连用。

a blue sky 蔚蓝的天空。in the sky在天空。

5 . rise 上升,上涨

The sun rises in the east .

After the heavy rain the river will rise .

Prices continue to rise .

〖点拨〗rise 的过去式是rose,过去分词为risen。rise 是不及物动词,表示的是自然界中,日、月、水位、物价等的自然上升。

6 . grass 草,草地

Sheep live on grass .

Keep off the grass ! 请勿践踏草地!

〖点拨〗grass常作不可数名词用。 a leaf of grass 一片草叶。

7 . famous 著名的

The town is famous for its hot springs .

〖点拨〗be famous for 以……而著名。be famous as 作为……而出名。

单元词组思维运用

1 . neither of 两者皆不

Neither of my parents enjoys good health . 我父母的身体都不健康。

〖说明〗①neither of 只表示“两个人或物都不”,不能用来表示两个以上的人或物。谓语动

词用单数。若表示两个以上的人或物,就得用none , not one , not any .

②both of 则表示“两者都”,either of 则表示“两者中任一”,如:

Both of them have come . 他们俩都来了。

Neither of them has come . 他们俩都没来。

Either of them has come . 他们俩全都来了。

〖说明〗both of 着重指整体“两者都”,either 虽然也有“两者都”之意,但强调“两者中的任何一个”。故:both of 作主语时,谓语动词用复数。either of 作主语时,谓语动词用单数。作形容词时,both 修饰复数名词,either 修饰单数名词。neither 作形容词,也是修饰单数名词。如:

You can sit on either of the end of the boat .

Both answers are correct . 两个答案都对。

Either answer is correct . 两个( 中的任何一个) 答案都对。

Neither answer is correct . 两个答案都不对。

2 . at first 起初,开始时

1.先让同学们猜个谜语,看谁能猜出。

Look at Exercise 2 in the workbook. Let the students match the two halves to make true sentences, then practise the dialogue with the whole class.
