Yuki Uchida , an 11－year－old girl who lives in the heart of Tokyo ,thinks nothing of riding a pacoed(拥挤的) train by herself to school.After all, like most Japanese children, she had been riding buses and trains by herself since she was six.Tokyo, the capital of Japan, has millions of people. To visitors, it is often very surprising to see that so many children travel alone in the city. My experience as a volunteer
My name is Li Hao. Last weekend, I had a great experience wording at a middle school in the countryside as a volunteer.
That day, I got up early. After a quick breakfast, I gathered with
some other volunteers at the school gate. Then we took a bus to the middle school. The children were so glad to see us. We gave each of them a T-shirts. and some books . Then we asked them to draw on the T-shirts. Some children drew beautifully. After drawing, we taught the children to sing English songs. We played games with the young kids. Every one had a good time. We said goodbye and left the school around 4:20 in the afternoon.
Though we were tired, we felt happy for what we did.
