Will E-books Replace Traditional Books?

You can see an army of people not reading traditional books but watching their mobile phones at any place. It’s not exaggerated to say that electronic products have spread people’s life. One of the results of the advancement of electronic products is that the e-book is more and more popular.

In the background, many traditional bookstores, although some of them have a long history, were bankrupt. Apart from the problem of management, the strike of e-book is an important reason. Thus, people can’t help thinking that whether e-books replace traditional books. There is no denying that e-books have many advantages that traditional books don’t have. For example, it’s convenient to carry and read the e-book. You can bring a mobile phone but you may not bring a book like a brick. You can still read the e-book without light but reading a word on the book is even difficult in darkness. But similarly, e-book is also a double-edged sword. And e-books also don’t have what traditional books have. For instance, due to the radiation of the electronic products, reading e-books does harm to people’s eyes.

Though e-books are popular, many people think firmly that e-books will not replace traditional books. Besides, I think so. Reading e-books and traditional books is absolutely different experience. Just imagine a picture. In a sunny day or a rainy day, you read a book sitting in your

yard , feeling the sunshine or listening to the sound of the rain. What a wonderful feeling it is. But if you read an e-book in this picture, I think it is not so harmonious.

Reading books is an enjoyment. Only by reading paper books can we think and research something deeply. I think traditional books won’t be replaced. Anyway, time will prove it.

TV: How It Affect U s？

Almost every family has one even more television. Although ,nowadays, there are so many accesses to getting information. Television is a vital part of acquiring information. That’s to say, it affect our lives in many aspects.

For all people, it is no exaggeration to say that TV affects us. First of all, it broadens our horizon. We can know what Venice is, even though we did n’t go there. And because we know more by watching TV, it may help us build higher aim. Secondly, in some extent, TV lengthens people’s time. That’s to say, we can accomplish something effectively and make full use of time. It’s obvious that we can know more than one thing using the previous time of knowing one thing.

Personally, I can feel that television affect my own life indeed. I like watching TV when I was young. Because I am fond of watching cartoons and soap opera, I spend much time in watching TV. From this aspect, I

waste much time.

In reality, maybe you not discover, believe it or not, TV affect people’s lives differently. Anyhow, we should take advantage of the fruits.

My Views on Social Network Sites Communication is one of the most important behaviors of human being. With the advancement of the Internet and technology, social network sites are becoming more and more popular.

But obviously, different people have different attitude. Most students pursue for Qzone and Renren, sharing new things happening around friends. A lot of people, almost including people of all ages, especially some stars, are making up micro blog at any time. On the contrary, there are some people who are against these sites thinking that the information on the sites is absolutely fake.

No matter what others think of these sites, I am in favor of them. After all, the circle of people in real life is limited. By the social network sites, we can know people from different places and different field. By the way, they provide us another approach to get more opportunities. Such as some dating sites.

This is an inevitable fact that social network sites play an increasingly vital role in our lives. We should gradually to accept them.

On the losing of traditional culture

Since the ancient time, China has always been famous for its traditional

culture. Many foreigners fall in love with China because of our traditional culture. But now, a variety of traditional culture is disappearing.

There are many reasons accounting for the phenomenon. Under society and family pressure, people are busy with pursuing higher salary and position, then they spend less time on appreciating traditional culture. For example, it is obvious that audience of Beijing Opera is all but old person. Beijing Opera is in such situation, and the else don’t have to be mentioned. Thus, the result of this low enthusiasm is that traditional culture can’t be inherited.

As for as I am concerned, traditional culture is worth inheriting. It is the accumulation of Chinese five thousand years’ history. It is because of our traditional culture that we are different from other countries. Our school should open a class about traditional culture since we are young to develop our interest. It’s time for us to protect it from disappearing.
