四、Working Principles

This product leverages sidelight integration ball to measure the absolute reflection. The lighting source and observing condition meets the GB3978-83 and CIE1971 recommended d/o standard. Full direction blue-light is sent to the measured objects. Electronic units will then gather the reflections. The signal is linear magnified and compensated by the computer smartly. The result is showed via LED and can be printed.

The light is ejected via LED (1), passing through the color filter set (2) and concentrate-lens (3), to combine a 446 mm wavelength centered blue ray. The ray then goes into the integration ball (8). The light is disordered inside the integration ball, and become non-directional shedding on the sample on the measure-hole (9). The reflected lights from the sample is collected via the concentrate-lens (7), captured by light fens (8) and filtered by the filtering sets (5), then absorbed by the silicon light battery and transferred to electronic signals. Being processed via the precision magnifier, the signal is then adjusted by computer, shown on the LED and printed, if the a printer is connected.

六、Operation Steps

1、Turn on the power, the power light will be red. The zero-point adjust point will be green. Warm up for 15mins (power plugger and switcher are both on the back of the machine). If you choose to use the printer, you should connect the printer data wire and power wire before turning on the machine. If the printer doesn’t work corr ectly or the display is malformed,

please turn off and reboot the machine.

2、Press the holder, put the “black bucket” into the sampling hole, you can the display immediately. The number should be 0.0 If the number is not 0.0 press the “ok” button, the number will be reset. The instruction light will switch to adjusted poison.

3、P ull out the “black bucket” and put on the “white working board”. Adjust the up-down key to make the display shows exactly the labeled value on the white board, and press “ok”.

4、Please refer to Graph 3 for sample preparation.

Put the sample box(3) in to the glass (4); turn to fasten the cap (5); put the sample into the sample box; remove the extra powder; put padding-block (2); switch to fasten powder presser(1); switch the handling roller until it makes “kika” sound which means the powder is fastened. Take out the padding-block and powder presser. Use tools (6) to put on the bottom cover (7). Turn around the sample box; rolling down the press cover, remove the glass. Now you can put the sample box under the sample whole, press the Function key to make the measure light on. Press the OK key to confirm.

Now the number displayed on the LED is the result. If you need printin g, press OK key to make the print light on. Press “OK” again to confirm and print.

七、Notice

1、It must be warmed up by 15mins before usage

2、Connecting the printer data cable is prohibited.

3、Need voltage stabilizer when needed.

4、The machine needs to be grounded for safety.

5、The upper part of the machine is optical system, while the

bottom part is power/electronic part. Please do not open the shell of the machine if you are not a professional repairer.

八、Repare and maintain.

1、The working environment needs to be clean, without dust and

oil. When making powder samples, please try not to leave powder on the machine.

2、Working board needs to be clean and tidy. Do not touch the

board by hand to avoid scratches. If the board is dirty, please use cotton with 100% alcohol to watch, and then wash it with water for the next use.

3、The black buckets needs to put up-side down to avoid

pollutions, which makes the zero-adjust inaccurate.

4、The sample box needs to be clean for the next use.

5、When the printer paper is used up, you can open the printer

cover to change paper rolls. Make the head as triangle to put in to the paper-incoming slot, and then close the cover.

6、When changing the power protection wire, pull down the

small plate on the power unit. There are two power protection wires, take out the inner one, and push the outer one to replace the inner one. Then close the plate.
