My sports and health

Good health is a precious gift of nature. With good health, a person can achieve and realize whatever he drives for. Meanwhile, good health is like the morning sunshine which imports comfort and happiness to others around us. A sound health is far better than a thousand other gifts.

Good health is based on the continuous exercise,there is no doubt that proper sports activities keep our physical fitness. Furthermore, sports can enrich our life and maintain our psychological health. People participate in different kinds of sports. Sports are perhaps the most popular form of relaxation that all can enjoy, whether men or women, the young or old. It builds our bodies, prevents us from getting too fat, and keeps us healthy.

As for our modern people living in the city, who study or work under pressure, sports plays a very important role in our daily life. The best way to keep fit and relax the pressure is to go in for sports. It not only promotes health but also prevents disease.

When I was in university,my favorite sport is running.I like running just because it’s simple and does not need any sophisticated equipment: you just need a pair of running shoes and what’s more you can do it anywhere and anytime. That’s probably why so many people like it, too.

As a matter of fac t, I don’t like to exercise in the past.One day, however, my best friend told me that she was determined to lose weight, and wanted me to supervise her keep on running. So, from then on, she almost asked me to accompany her running every day, except the bad weather. Since then I have developed habit of running.

Running has brought me a new life and changed my life style. I insisted on running every morning for more than half an hour, therefore, I was full of energy in classes. After self-study in the evening, my friends and I went to playground running for nearly an hour. At that time, Running helped me to de-stress myself, because I tended to forget all the worries and anxieties while running in the open air, and after running I could be calm down to think about problems.

Until I begin to work, I have less chance to do exercises, because there is no suitable space and enough time. Only on weekends, I occasionally go to the park or nearly school running, but this is not often exercise. So I find another cheap sport——rope skipping .Rope skippingis not only the gamefor children; it is still a good way to keep healthy.I insist to keep skipping 3 or 4 times each week, and I always jump a while and then rest a while, and each time keep skipping 30 minutes.I think rope skipping is a suitable movement for women, because it helps to maintain posture,and also can lose weight.

In a word,I love sports,Sports not only keep me healthy and

strong,but also let me feel energetic and vigorous in studying and working. I feel that I not only gain a well-balanced life through going in for sports, but also get more chances to move closer to nature.
