People all over the world are living in different ethnic, cultural, or national backgrounds. More and more difference ethnic people getting marriage and accepted in today’s society. Interracial marriage is a common phenomenon in recent years.

Advantages:

Interracial marriage is beneficial because there are many advantages such as good for increase development of language and culture, couple relationship and society peace.

The most important advantage of marrying some from different culture is learning a foreign language. When learning a foreign language, there are signboards in the language and words which we are not familiar with. Exposing to the native environment, it is the best way to master a foreign language. If one marries a foreigner, it is efficient for her or him to practice the language since he or she gets the chance to live in that country. For example, I have a friend who is Chinese. Before didn’t know English, when she married to an American man. After several months, she can speak very well English. Now she has one handsome son. Her son can speak both Chinese and English.

The more important thing in choosing a marriage partner is true love, good communication, and understanding, not on money or other material things. Marriages are based on mutual trust and respect. They love each other and want to be together in their whole life. My cousin married to an American guy, her husband always buy some flower and gift to surprising her. She likes to married to American guy who is romantic. All interracial marriages which were based on mental compatibility and love are successful because when two people are in love - nothing else is important but one another's happiness.

In addition, Mixed marriages will also have a good effect in the world peace and development, or the social progress, because of the cultural exchange between the two different nations. Different racial people getting marry, they have good relationship with people of two countries, they know about each culture and languages, so they communicate each other which reduce mutual racial discrimination and gap. It increases social economic development and social stability as well as social economic development.

Disadvantages:

Although intercultural marriage help many Chinese find their happiness, they do face with many problems. The obstacles come from family, friends, personal values, and expectations. Some of the problems these relationships face include:
