英语四六级常考作文类型及范文、句型
根据大学英语考试大纲的要求，大学英语考试四级作文的体裁有五类：议论文，说明文，应用文，记叙文和描写文。但在实际考试中，一般只考议论文和应用文两种体裁。
一、写作注意事项
注意文体特征：应用文是一种实用的文体。为了达到特定的交际目的，应用文的写作首先要求格式正确，语气恰当。
安排好文章结构：一般来说，考生可以依次展开提纲中的三个要点，形成成为文章三个段落。但是须知，写文章不是回答论述题，写文章是一门艺术，一篇优美的文章就是一件精美的艺术品。一篇文章是一个有机的整体，先写什么、后写什么都要有一个统筹安排，需要花心思琢磨一番。因此，为了使文章的结构更加合理，很多时候我们不能完全按照提纲的顺序来写。况且提纲只是规定了一篇文章写作的大致范围，并不要求考生严格按照其顺序来写作。
构思好文章内容:四个字：有话能说。有些考生在考场上总想能象写汉语作文那样向老师掏心掏肺，写出自己的真情实感，而事实上大部分考生的英语语言能力是达不到这一点的，因而常常在考场上陷入有千言万语却写不出的苦恼。实际上，在构思文章的内容时最重要的不是你想写什么，而是你能写什么。在构思过程中，面对自己脑海中冒出来的许多想法，考生要选择那些自己能够用正确的英语表达出来的内容。总之，构思文章内容时，既要有话可说，更要有话能说
二、作文类型
1、致辞

范文：In most colleges and universities the examination is used as a chief means of deciding whether a student succeeds or fails in mastering a particular subject. Although it does the job quite efficiently, its side effects are also enormous. To begin with, examinations lower the standards of teaching. Since teachers are often judged by examination results, they are reduced to training their students in exam techniques. No subjects can be taught successfully merely through being approached with intent to take examinations. In addition, the most undesirable effect is that examinations encourage bad study habits.
