1月16日，北京春运大幕徐徐开启，将持续到2月24日。
春运期间，节前返乡、节中出游、节后返校将成为主要的客流组成，预计在40天的时间里，北京出行人数将达到3738万人次。
回望2013年，中国春运人次首次突破34亿，而仅仅北京市，就运送了3650多万人次的旅客。
“让人们能够回家”已经不再是春运的唯一目标，让旅客享受更舒适的旅途和更便捷的方式，是今年北京春运的工作重点。
