A survey shows that about a third of Americans have myopia —also known as nearsightedness. The rates are much higher in some parts of Asia.
A new report says kids who spend more time outside are less likely to have myopia. The interviewers asked 191 children questions about outdoor activities. The children who have myopia spend less time on outdoor activities, about 8 hours a week, while the other children spend about 13 hours. Those with myopia also watch more television.

A new study in the United States finds that people who ate the most red meat and cooked meat are unhealthier. For example, they can get a heart illness more easily. All kinds of meat, beef, mutton, chicken, fish and so on, are all in the study.
