小学英语绘本教学的实践研究 （一）课题的核心概念及其界定 绘本，最普遍的定义就是用图画说故事的书。学者们对于绘本的定义各有不同，郭恩 惠认为故事绘本是：“除文字之外，也以图画表达故事的童书。包括以人物、动物、植物等多种造型表现的图画书。”刘凤芯指出：“一本图画书至少包含三种故事:文字讲的故事，图画暗示的故事，以及两者结合后产生的故事。”日本儿童图画书名家松居直先生表示：文字+图画=带插画的书，文字×图画=图画书。绘本中文字与图画必须是完整的结合，书页中的插画不只是伴随正文，还须适度的披露情节与观念，来刺激读者的想象力与好奇心，进而提升读者的艺术欣赏能力。因此，在选择英文绘本作为教学材料时，须以图像独特优美为前提，同时也要兼顾书中的内容涵意和它的文学表现。 小学英语绘本教学：语言是一种互动的行为。无论是母语或第二种语言的学习，学习者并不一定是先学文法，再学习语意，最后才学习语用各种听、说、读、写的能力。语言的文法、语意和语用这三个面向应该同样重要，是同时学习的。因此语言的教学必须兼顾语言使用的情境，并能活用言谈的技巧才能帮助语言学习者正确而有效地学习。因此在英文绘本的教学中，这四种能力我们希望可以循序渐进同时培养，透过情境的营造师生互动，来丰富孩子的英文使用经验。 小学英语绘本教学的实践研究：本课题旨在研究英语绘本阅读在小学英语教学中的实践步骤及对学生英语水平产生的影响。 （二）国内外同一研究领域现状与研究的价值 近年来，台湾学者对绘本教学进行了多方位的研究与思考，如：从介绍儿童英语绘本教学的概念语教学实际的例子，并说明在教学上实施的步骤（郑鼎耀，林儒，2004）；有学者是运用网络上的英语绘本图画书从事网络电子绘本教学（钟树椽、陈贞蓉，2004）；有些学者从英语话剧与英语绘本实验教学来谈论话剧在英语绘本教学上的应用（吴素月、杨雅雯，2004）；也有人运用读写能力开发六年级绘本制作之合作学习方案（郭玉津，2004），或是將生命教育课程融入国小高年级英语绘本教学，来探讨学童自我概念、生命价值观与生活态度影响（翁淑容，2005），或是运用多元智能理论辅助学童英語绘本教学学习（许传珠，2004）。国内对绘本教学的研究文献鲜少，且现有经验和资料多停留在单个绘本故事在单节课中的教学。已有的英语绘本教学的研究主题非常的分歧，因此本研究希望聚焦在探究英语绘本教学在小学各年级中的教学实践。 综合国内外学者（廖美玲，1999；詹伟佳，2001；Cross,1995;Dlugosz,2000;Gambrell&Morrow, 1999;Nantz&Gallenmore,2001;Power&Hubbard,1996）研究显示，绘本教学更提供英语学习者以下英语学习的内涵与优点：1.绘本展示正确语言结构；2.绘本教学能激发学生的创意思考；3.知识与经验的学习：孩子拥有强烈的好奇心，让孩子配合自己的学习能力，大量阅读
