My secret of staying young is simple: keeping your mind awake and you will stay young all over. Take an interest in world around you, and learn at least one old thing every day. Don’t think that you are ever very old to go back to school. I know a man who entered medical college in 70. He got his degree with honors and became a

famous doctor. Other man went to law school at 71 and is now a active lawyer. You may say that staying young is easy only for those live in the future. In fact, you can do it whether you care enough to try to keep your mind awake and active, and which is the only way to be always young.

My swimming experience is extreme interesting. There was a time when I swim like a rock. This went on till one day when I was fishing with a friend of mine at nearby pond. I slipped into one. Had my friend not come to my rescue, I would have been drowned. Ever since then, I had come to know the importance of learning to swim. I didn’t attend at any training class but learned it all by myself. Strange to say, I have difficult swimming at all now. 常见错误：用词错误和篇章错误

用词错误：

1.冠词的错误：a, an的误用,注意特别名词

如an hour, an unusual day, 及字母前如 an “f/l/m…”定冠词the是特指。

表示时间的in, on, at at表示片刻的时间，in表示一段的时间，on总是与日子有关

表示时间的since, from since 指从过去到现在的一段时间，和完成时连用，from 指从时间的某一点开始

表示时间的in, after in指在一段时间之后，after表示某一具体时间点之后或用在过去时的一段时间中

篇章错误

一般来说，如果短文的内容不理解是很难改出这些错误。比如关联词和关系代词/关系副词等。

1. 关联词：常见的有but/however, and, so和or之间的误用。

2. 一致关系：包括两个连接成分的一致，人称和数的一致，或者是前面提到的语法一致现象。一般上述的关联词前后比较容易出错。

Eg.We fed monkeys, visiting temples and told stories. _______

3. 关系代词或副词：比如只用that的特殊情况（详见下），when, where, why, who 和whom, which+介词等

Eg. I live in Beijing，where is the capital of China. _________

只用that的情况如下：

（1）当先行词是all, something, nothing 等不定代词时

（2）先行词的前面有first, last, only, few, much, some, any, no 等词修饰时

（3）先行词的前面有最高级修饰时

（4）先行词包含人和物时

做题的思路

1. 先通读全文了解短文内容。这样做篇章错误的类型就有把握，到底要转折还是要用并列。

2. 逐句先把明显的错误改出来。

3. 利用我们常出错的一般规律来查找隐形错误。在改错中宗会有一、二处一下看不出来，这种情况下，我们要利用大致会出错的地方来分析。一般来说，改错的地方相对均匀，不会同一种错误出现很多出，介词或动词偶尔例外。

4. 改错题可以一发下试卷就做，因为此时头脑较为清醒；如果做完阅读去做的话，有可能头脑较糊涂，不利于改错。当然这也是因人而异，没有绝对的
