“A lot of learning comes through play,”says McGarry, a special education teacher for 28 years. She'd seen the wood chips and sand of traditional playgrounds stop wheelchairs dead in their tracks.

One woman gave $25,000 and had her company donate the same amount. __3__ There were silent auctions (拍卖) and T-shirt sales. The local Pieper Family Foundation offered to donate half of the remaining $170,000 balance if McGarry could raise the rest. The $450,000 covered materials, but the actual construction would cost an additional $900,000. Not a choice. But the community could build it.

On September 16, 2008, the first day of construction, they came. Two women heard about the project on the radio on the way to work and took the day off to help. __4__ Ten-year-olds sanded surfaces.

Today, Possibility Playground is one of the most popular destinations in Ozaukee County, There's a giant pirate ship, a sandbox, monkey bars, swings and so on.

The weather’s nice, and the youngsters are out of time. Here are a few tips to help you along the way: Nature is all around us. 37 For small kids, there’s likely plenty in the backyard, courtyard, or schoolyard. National parks are great, but kids foster a deep connection with nature close to home! 38 Don’t worry too much about what to do once you arrive at your nature-rich destination. What kids really need is free time to engage all their senses and use their imaginations. You can learn too. What counts is simply to get out there, show that you value the outdoors, and be ready to have fun. 39 In fact, it is not necessary for you to know anything at all about science or nature. And remember, questions are more powerful than answers anyway! Sit back and watch your kids learn. Don’t be too much of a helicopter parent, always saying “no”. Instead, try to spare more time to stay with your kids when necessary.

Secret codes (密码) keep messages private. Bank, companies, and government agencies use secret code in doing business, especially when information is sent by computer. People have used secret codes for thousands of years. 36 Code breaking never lags (落后) behind code making. The science of decoding and reading coded messages is called cryptography. There are three main types of cryptography. 37 For example, the first letters a re “My elephant eats too many eels” spell out the hidden message “Meet me.” 38 You might represent each letter with a number, for example, let’s number the letters of the alphabet, in order, from 1 to 26. If we substitute a number for each letter, th e message “Meet me” would read “1 3 5 20 13 5”. A code uses symbols to replace words, phrases, or sentences. To read the message of a real code, you must have a code book. 39 For example, “bridge” might stand for “meet” and “out” might stand for “me”.The message “bridge out” would actually mean “Meet me”. 40 However, it

The Olympic Weightlifting While weightlifting is used in many sports and athletic training, Olympic weightlifting is the name of the official sport name.1There are special conditions they have to meet in order to compete: body weight, height and strength. 2How fast and with what level of mobility(活动性)can the athlete perform the lift? In the competition, both mobility and lifting speed are evaluated together with the athlete’s strength. The techniques specific to the sport are part of the training schemes and programs of many excellent athletes. The weights used for Olympic weightlifting are added in 1 kilogram. The order by which athletes enter the competition is not general, but it is set depending on the event.3If he/she is not successful, he/she can try later, but there is a maximum of three lifts allowed per
