一、指导思想

根据新课标,以培养学生的创新精神和实践能力为重点,全面推进素质教育。结合小学英语教学的特点,主要激发学生学习英语的兴趣,培养良好的语言学习习惯,着重培养学生英语基础语言能力和英语语感能力,循序渐进地建立起英语语言思维能力,为学生进一步学习英语打下良好基础。本教材提倡“情景式”的教学模式,让学生在教师的指导下,通过感知、体验、实践、参与和合作等方式,实现目标,感受成功。在学习过程中进行情感和策略调整,以形成积极的学习态度,促进语言实际运用能力的提高。

二、总的教学要求

(一)、知识目标

1.掌握每个单元的词汇和句型。

2.能实用日常交际用语,活用四会句型,进行简单的交流,做到大胆开口,读音正确。

3.能在图片、手势、情境等非语言提示的帮助下,听懂清晰的话语和录音。

4.培养良好的书写习惯,做到书写规范整洁。

5.养成听英语,读英语,说英语的习惯,认真模仿语音,语调,以逐步培养语感。

6.能根据要求和情境运用相关的语言知识和语言技能,完成某项任务,并促使语言能力的提高。

(二)、情感目标

1.培养浓厚的学习兴趣。

2.培养良好的学习习惯。

3.培养同学间的协作精神和环保意识。

三、教材分析

Unit1 The lion and the mouse

本单元是新学期开始的第一单元,也是一个典型的故事教学单元。本单元讲述的是一只老鼠如何帮助狮子脱离险境,最后两者变成好朋友的故事。通过讲述这个故事展开话题,并且引出本单元所要解决的副词用法的重点教学内容。本单元的故事教学,能够极大地吸引学生的学习兴趣,取材巧妙,寓意深刻,语言的交际性和运用性较强,对学生的实际语言运用能力有很大的帮忙和指导作用。

1. 词汇:能听懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词large, strong, quietly, loudly, sharp, weak。

2. 句型:能听得懂、会说、会读和会写句型The lion asked sadly . The mouse said happily…

3. 语法:能初步感知副词在句子中的作用及形容词变为副词的一般规则

4. 语音:体会语音语调在句子中的变化。

5. 文化渗透:能够初步了解不同国家的儿童文学作品。

Unit 2 Good habits

本单元以讲述两位同学的生活习惯为主线,以记叙文的形式分别记录了两位同学的好习惯和坏习惯。每位同学在生活中都会有一些好的习惯或者或多或少地存在着一些坏的习惯。因此,本单元安排的教学情境比较贴近学生的实际生活,语言的表述性较强。此外,在本单元的教学中,还多次出现了诸如sometimes, often, usually, never等表示频率的频度副词的用法。这对于学生讲述一件事情的发生次序及说明所做事情的频率有一定的帮助和指导意义,也有利于提高学生的英语表达能力。

1.词汇:能听懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词child , habit , never , late , f finish ,tidy,fast。

2.句型:能听得懂、会说、会读和会写句型He/She gets up/goes to school in the morning.He/She never goes to bed Iate.

3.日常交际用语:能听懂、会说日常交际用语We walk fast in the street. He gets up early in the morning. He never goes to bed late.

4.语音:了解字母组合or在单词中的读音。

5.歌谣:能诵读歌谣This is the way.

Unit 3 A healthy diet

本单元是以讨论健康饮食为主题的语篇教学。本单元的教学主题十分贴近学生的日常生活,能够为学生的日常口语交际提供强大的语言支持。语言的交际性和实用性较强,对学生的实际语言运用能力有很大的帮助和指导作用。

1.词汇:能听懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词及词组healthy , diet , a little , a few ,need。

2.句型:能听得懂、会说、会读和会写句型He/She has a lot of /some noodles/meat .He/She eats a few eggs/a little rice.

3.语法:进一步区分可数名词和不可数名词的区别。

4.语音:字母ou在单词中的读音。

5.文化渗透:能够初步了解中西方国家的饮食差异。

Unit 4 Road safety

本单元的学习内容是谈论道路安全,从而学会正确使用来表述安全规则及提醒对方。

1.词汇:能听懂、会说、会认读、会写说、会认读、会写road, must, safe, follow, light.能听懂、会说、会认读safety, cross, safely, zebra crossing, pavement, look out for, easily, rule,stay。

2.句型:能听懂、会说、会认读、会运用You must… You must not…

3.语音:英语句子的重读。

4.语法:情态动词must和mustn't的用法;must和can的区别。

5.写作:使用情态动词来表述安全规则。

Unit 5 A party

本单元主要围绕“聚会”这个话题展开各项活动,学生初次接触一般将来时态,重点学习句型What are you/we八hey going to do? I am/We/They are going to…What is he/she going to dog He/She is going to…及其一及其一般疑问句及肯否定回答Are you/we/they going to…?Yes,Iam/we/they are. Is he/she going to…?No,he/she isn't.本单元安排的话题学生较感兴趣,语言的交际性强,有利于学生的学习。

I.词汇:能听懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词及词组clown, balloon, appear, begin,Children's Day,put on。

2.句型:能听得懂、会说、会读和会写句型What are you/we八hey going to do? I am/We/They are going to…What is he/she going to dog He/She is going to…Are you/we/they going to…?Yes,Iam/we/they are. Is he/she going to…?No, he/she isn't.

4.语音:了解字母组合ow在单词中的读音。

Unit6 An interesting country

本单元主要围绕“有趣的国家”这个话题展开各项活动,学生学习时态的另一种表达方法,重点学习句型I/You/We/They/He/She will…本单元安排得的教学题材有关大洋洲的澳大利亚,学生对于另一个国度的文北等很感兴趣,本篇课文语言交际性强,有利于提高学生的学习兴趣。

1.词汇:能听懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词及词组country, learn, about, magazine,kangaroo,koala,lover,exciting,Sydney,welcome, visitor, London, Oxford,like,Big Ben,London Eye,Tower Bridge, next week, find out, Australian football。

2.句型:能听得懂、会说、会读和会写句型I/You/We/They/He/She will…

3.日常交际用语:能听懂、会说日常交际用语What will you do? Will you cook fish for me?

4.语音:了解字母组合air在单词中的读音。

Unit7 Summer holiday plans

本单元主要围绕“暑假计划,,这个话题展开各项活动,通过Mike, Yang Ling以及Liu Tao, Su Hai之间一段有关假期计划的对话,重点学习句望Will you/they/he/she…?及其肯定和否定回答Yes, I/they will. No,he/she won‘t..本单元安排的教学题材贴近学生的实际情况,计划即将到来的署假生活,语言的交际性强,有利于提高学生的学习兴趣。

I.词汇:能听懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词及词组will, stay,sound, Disneyland, Taipei,travel,traveler,Ocean Park,summer holiday,go back to,how long, travel around the world.

2.句型:能听得懂、会说、会读和会写句型Will you/they/he/she…?及其肯否定回答Yes, I/they wi11. No, he/she won't.

3.日常交际用语:能听懂、会说日常交际用语Where will you go for the summer holiday? When will we go? How long will he stay there? What will she do there? I/We/He/She will…

4.语音:了解字母组合oy在单词中的读音。

Unit 8 Our dreams

本单元是六年级下册的最后一个单元,本学期又是小学生活的最后一个学期,因此让学生展望未来,谈谈自己的理想,以及如何为实现自己的理想而努力学习。通过学习句型What do you want to be in the future? I want to be…来谈一谈自己的远大理想。

1.词汇:能听懂、会说、会读care about, astronaut, spaceship, Moon, football player, World Cup, dancer, pianist, come true, brave, paint。能听懂、会说、会读、会写dream, future, take care of, scientist, artist.

2.句型:能听懂、会说、会读、会写What do you want to be in the future? I want to be…

3.语音:能掌握Word linking(连读和失去爆破)的朗读技巧。

4.歌曲:能唱I'm a little teacher.

5。写作:能用一般将来时谈论自己的理想。

四、学情分析

通过一个多学期的教学,对学生已有基本了解。班级大部分学生学习习惯较好,但部分学生出现了不好的学习习惯,有少数学生也由于遇到困难,学习兴趣不浓,作业完成不够理想。

这个学期在教学中以学生的发展为宗旨,以培养学生的创新精神和实践能力为重点,面向全体学生,在激发学生兴趣的同时,扎扎实实地从每个学生抓起。六年级的学生学习比较理性。教师在以活动为课堂教学的主要形式的同时,要充分发挥任务型教学在高年级的优化使用,设计丰富多彩的教学活动,有效的完成教学任务。

同时注意到学生中存在的两极分化,教学内容注意由简到难,循序渐进,在知识的复现中做好及时补差工作。充分培养学生的听说读写能力,尤其要加强识读,拼写的能力。重视阅读能力和写作能力的同步培养。重视英语作为语言的交际功能。

五、提高教学质量的措施

1.深钻新教材,以及教材的内在联系,六年级作为新教材,一定要熟透教材,明确目标,认真备好每节课。

2.充分发挥课代表与小组长的带头作用和管理才能,使学生之间形成互帮互助互相监督的学习氛围。

3.让课堂焕发生命活力,有讲有练,精讲精练,有动有静,让学生在乐中学,学中乐。

4.尝试让学生进行简单的英文写作,对学生的读写提出更高的要求。

5、逐步渗透任务型教学,培养学生活用英语,用英语完成任务的本领。

6、适当增加教学内容量,以滚动式教学,以反复渗透巩固的方法提高学习效率。

7、初步渗透任务型教学的教学理念。

8、加强差生的辅导工作,尽力不使一个差生掉队。

六、教学进度

Unit1 The lion and the mouse

【教材分析】

作为本册教材的起始单元,本单元的课文仍旧是一个经典故事,改编自著名的寓言故事《狮子和老鼠》。故事已拟人的手法呈现了两个强弱分明的动物形象,表达了两个寓意:一是小人物也可以发挥大作用;二是人人都需要朋友,即使他很强大。小学阶段的高年级学生已经具备了较为独立自主的思考和判断能力,在教学过程中,教师可以适时地引导学生发挥想象力,表达自己对“朋友”的定义和见解,明白“尺有所短,寸有所长”的道理,感受朋友间相互帮助的美好情感。教师也可以鼓励学生表演故事和背诵课文。

【教学目标】

1. 学生能初步能理解并且会听、会说、会读单词及词组:mouse, walk by, wake…up, some day, let…go, the next day, net,bite, sharp, sadly, just then, soon, from then on, cheer, hit, deep, reach, quickly, pour…into,会听、会说、会读和会写单词及词组:large, strong, quietly, weak, loudly, happily.等副词的用法。

2. 学生能初步感知句型,能初步听懂并且会读、会运用句型:The mouse said quietly. The lion laughed loudly.

3. 复习过去式,进一步学会运用。并掌握几个动词的过去式的特殊变化。

4.正确区分、理解和掌握形容词与副词,并学会正确运用。

5.学生能初步理解本篇童话故事,并通过故事学习,激发学生的学习兴趣。教育学生不能欺负弱小;要明白:强大和弱小是相对的!

6.掌握语音:特殊疑问句的降调

7.通过对《伊索寓言》和《成语故事》的了解和阅读,体味中外文化的差异。

8.培养学生的自主学习能力以及语言综合运用能力。

1). 读副词,并说出其形容词。

Step 1. Organization:

1. Greetings.

2. Free talk:

What‘s the weather like today?

What date is it today?

What do you like?

What are you good at?

Step2. Revision:

1. Review the intonation.

1). Read the sentences in Sound time.

2). 呈现一些新的句子,让学生尝试朗读。

2. Review Cartoon time

1). 提问:

What is Sam and Bobby good at ?

Billy and Willy cheer for them, how is Sam?

What does he do?

Where‘s the ball?

Can they get the ball at last?

Who has the idea?

What does he do?

2). Read the story.

3). 四人一组,试着演一演。

Step3. Checkout time

1. T: Do you like this story?

Ss: Yes.

T: Today we‘ll talk about other people‘s story.

2. Look and write.

1). (呈现图片) T: Look at these pictures, can you say something? What are they doing? Where are they? How do they feel?

学生尝试着讲一讲。

引导学生用不同的句型说一说。

2). 呈现P14句子。

3). 学生试着填空。

4). 同桌讨论。

5). 交流。

6). 齐读6句话。

7). Tell the story.

要求学生任选一幅图,根据情景讲故事。

如Pic 1: It is Sports Day today. All the students are in the playground. Look, the boys are running. Liu Tao is running fast. I think he is No. 1. I‘m very excited.

3. Think and write

1).T: They have some stories. How about our old friend Su Hai.She has some stories, too.

2). (呈现Su Hai插图) T: What is she doing now?

Ss: She is writing an email.

T: Who is she writing to?

Ss: She is writing to Anna.

T: What is Su Hai writing in her emai? Do you want to know?

3). Read the email by selves.

4). Try to finish the email.

5). Check the answer.

Ask some students to read sentence by sentence.

6). Ask and answer.

Q1: When did the story happen?

Q2: Where did Su Hai go that day?

Q3: Who did they meet?

Q4: Why was the boy here?

Q5: What did Su Hai give the boy?

Step4. Production

1. T: It‘s happy to help people. Did you help others before? Think it over.

2. Write down your story.

Step5. Homework

1. 复习本单元所有内容,熟读Story time和Cartoon time对话,并背诵。

2. 写一个自己或家人助人为人的故事,并在小组之间讲一讲。
