大学英语四级考试概述
1．试卷构成
大学英语四级考试由四个部分构成：l）听力理解；2）阅读理解；3）完型填空；4）写作和翻译。
各部分测试内容、题型和所占分值比例如下表所示：

1）写作
写作（Writing）部分测试学生用英语进行书面表达的
能力，所占分值比例为15%，考试时间30分钟。
评分原则和评分方法：
阅卷工作由全国大学英语四、六级考试委员会负责组织，目前采用电脑网上集中阅卷形式。
评分原则：四级作文的评判以大学英语教学大纲四级教学要求为准则。
评分方法：四级作文采用总体评分法（Global Scoring），阅卷人员就总体印象给出奖励分（Rewarding Scores）。
2）听力理解
听力部分分值比例为35%，其中对话占15%，短文占20%.考试时间35分钟。
对话部分（Listening Conversations）包括短对话和长对话，均采用多项选择题的形式进行考核。
短文部分包括多项选择题型的短文理解（Listening Passages）和复合式听写（Compound Dictation）。
3）阅读理解
阅读理解部分包括仔细阅读（Reading in Depth）和快速阅读（Skimming and Scanning），测试学生通过阅
读获取书面信息的能力；所占分值比例为35%，其中仔细阅读部分25%，快速阅读部分l0%.考试时间40分钟。
仔细阅读部分要求考生阅读三篇短文。两篇为多项选择题型的短文理解测试，每篇长度为300—350词。一篇为选词填空（Banked Cloze）或简答题（Short Answer Questions）。
快速阅读部分采用l—2篇较长篇幅的文章或多篇短文，总长度约为1 000词。要求考生运用略读和查读的技能从篇章中获取信息。
4）翻译
翻译（Translation）部分和写作一样，都是测试学生用英语进行书面表达的能力，所占分值比例为5%
3．选材原则
命题的语料均选自英文原版材料，包括日常生活中的对话、讲座、广播电视节目、报刊、杂志、书籍、学术期刊等。选材的原则是：
1）题材广泛；
2）体裁多样；
