Good evening. Thank you.One year ago, I introduced my father when hedeclared his candidacy. In his own way, and through his own sheer force of will,he sacrificed greatly to enter the political arena as an outsider. And heprevailed against afield of 16 very talented competitors. For more than a year,Donald Trump has been the people’s champion, and tonight he’s the people’snominee.

Like many of my following millennial, I do not consider myselfcategorically Republican or Democrat. More than party affiliation, I vote onbased on what I believe is right, for my family and for my country. Sometimesit’s a tough choice. That is not the case this time. As the proud daughter ofyour nominee, I am here to tell you that this is the moment and Donald Trump isthe person to make America great again.

Real change, the kind we have not seen in decades is only going to comefrom outside the system. Andit’s only going to come from a man who’s spent hisentire life doing what others said could not be done. My father is a

fighter. When the primaries got tough and they were tough, he did what any great leaderdoes. He dug deeper, worked harder, got better and became stronger.

I have seen him fight for his family. I have seen him fight for hisemployees.

I have seen him fight for his company. And now, I am seeing him fightfor our country. It’s been the story of his life and more recently the spirit o fhis campaign. It’s also a prelude to reaching the goal that unites us all. Whenthis party and better still this country knows what it is like to win again.

If it’s possible to be famous and yet not really well done, that describesthe father who raised me.In the same office in Trump Tower, where we now worktogether, I remember playing on the floor by my father’s desk, constructingminiature buildings with Legos and Erector sets, while he did the same withconcrete steel and glass.

One of my father’s greatest talents is the ability to see potential i npeople, before they see it in themselves. It was like that for us to growing up.He taught us that potential vanishes into nothing without effort.

And like him, we each had responsibility to work, not just for ourselvesbut for the betterment of the world around us. Over the years, on too manyoccasions to count, I saw my father tear stories out of the newspaper aboutpeople whom he had never met,who were facing some injustice or hardship. He’dwrite a note to his assistant, in a signature black felt tip pen, and requestthat the person be found and invited to Trump Tower to meet with him. He wouldtalk to them and then draw upon his extensive network to find them a job or getthem a break. And they would leave his office, as people so often do after havingbeen with Donald Trump, feeling that life could be great again.

Throughout my entire life,I have witnessed his empathy and generositytowards other, especially those who are suffering. It is just his way of beingin your corner when you’re down. My father not only has the strength

and abilitynecessary to be our next President, but also the kindness and compassion thatwill enable him to be the leader that this country needs.

I’ve learned a lot about the world from walking construction jobs by hisside. When run properly, construction sites are true meritocracies. Competence inthe building trades is easy to spot and incompetence is impossible to hide.

These sites are also incredible melting pots, gathering people from allwalks of life and uniting them to work towards a single mission. There havealways been men of all background and capacities on my father’s job sites. Andlong before it was common place, you also saw women.

My father values talent. He recognizes real knowledge and skill when hefinds it. He is color blind and gender neutral. He hires the best person for thejob, period.

Words and promises, no matter visionary they sound will only get you sofar. In our business, you're not a builder, unless you’ve got a building to showfor it, or in my father’s case, city skylines. Most people strive their entirelives to

achieve great success in a single industry. My father has succeeded inmany on the highest level and on a global scale. One of the reasons he hasthrived as an entrepreneur is because he listens to everyone. Billionaireexecu tives don’t usually ask the people doing the work for their opinion of thework. My father is an exception.

TRUMP: On every one of his projects, you’ll see him talking to the super, the painter, the engineers, the electricians, he’ll ask them for their feedback,if they think something should be done differently, or could be done better. When Donald Trump is in charge, all that counts is ability, effort andexcellence.

This has long been the philosophy at the Trump Organization. At my

fat her’scompany, there are more female than male executives. Women are paid equally forthe work that we do and when a woman becomes a mother, she is supported, notshut out. Women represent 46 percent of the total U.S. labor force, and 40percent of American households have female primary breadwinners.

In 2014, women made 83 cents for every dollar made by a man. Single womenwithout children earn 94 cents for each dollar earned by a man, whereas marriedmothers made only 77 cents. As researchers have noted, gender is no longer thefactor creating the greatest wage discrepancy in this country, motherhoodis.

As President, my father will change the labor laws that were put into placeat a time when women were not a significant portion of the workforce. And hewill focus on making quality childcare affordable and accessible for all.

As a mother myself, of three young children, I know how hard it is to workwhile raising a family. And I also know that I’m far more fortunate than most.American families need relief. Policies that allow women with children to thriveshould not be novelties, they should be the norm. Politicians talk about wageequality, but my father has made it a practice at his company throughout hisentire career. He will fight for equal pay for equal work, and I will fight forthis too, right along side of him.

Americans today need an economy that permits people to rise again. A TrumpPresidency will turn the economy around and restore the great American traditionof giving each new generation hope for brighter opportunities than those of thegeneration that came before. In Donald Trump, you have a candidate who knows thedifference between wanting something done and making it happen.

When my father says that he will build a tower, keep an eye on the skyline.Floor by floor a soaring structure will appear, usually record setting in itsheight and iconic in its design. Real people are hired to do real work. Visionbecomes reality. When my father says that he will make America great again, hewill deliver.

We have a chance this year, to reclaim our heritage as a country thatdreams big and makes the impossible happen. Fortunately, Donald Trump isincapable of thinking small. When I was a child, my father always told me,Ivanka, if you’re going to bethinking anyway, you might as well think big.

AsPresident, my father will take on the bold and worthy fights. He will beunafraid to set lofty goals and he will be relentless in his determination toachieve them.

To people all over America, I say, when you have my father in your corner, you will never again have to worry about being let down. He will fight for youall the time, all the way, every time.

Maybe it’s the developer in him, but Donald Trump cannot stand to see emptymain streets and boarded up fa ctories. He can’t bear the injustice of collegegraduates who are crippled by student debt, and mothers who can’t afford of thechildcare required to return to work to better the lives of their families.Other politicians see these hardships, see the unfairness of it all, and theysay I feel for you. Only my father will say, I’ll fight for you.

The hard working men and women of this country identify with my father. Heis tough and he is persevering. He is honest and he is real. He’s an optimistand he’s a relentless believer in America and all of her potential. He loves hisfamily and he loves his country with his heart and his soul.

这个国家勤劳的男女会认同我的父亲。他是一条硬汉,而且持之以恒;他诚实且真实;

Politicians ask to be judged by their promises, not their results. I askyou to judge my father by his results. Judge his values by those he’s instilledin his children. Judge his competency by the towers he’s built, the companieshe’s founded, and the tens of thousands of jobs he’s created. He is the singlemost qualified serve as chief executive of an trillion economy.

My father will call upon the best and brightest people from all spheres ofindustry and both side of the aisle. A new set of thinkers, to face ourcountries existing and future problems with fresh perspective and brave newsolutions. Come January17, all things will be possible again. We can hope anddream and think big again. No one has more faith in the American people than myfather. He will be your greatest, your truest and your most loyal champion.

This is the fighter, the doer that you have chosen as your nominee, in waysno one expected, this moment in the life of our country has defined a missionand given it to an extraordinary man.He is ready to see it all the way through,to speak to every man and every woman, of every background, in every part ofthis great country. To earn your trust and to earn your vote.He earned that andmuch more from me a long time ago.

I’ve loved and respected him, my entire life. And I could not be more proudtonight, to present to you and to all of America, my father and our nextPresident, Donald J. Trump.

Ted

Now, I want to start with a question: When was the last time you were called childish? For kids like me, being called childish can be a frequent occurrence. Every time we make irrational demands, exhibit irresponsible behavior, or display any other signs of being normal American citizens, we are called childish, which really bothers me. After all, take a look at these events: Imperialism and colonization, world wars, George W. Bush. Ask yourself: Who's responsible? Adults. Now, what have kids done? Well, Anne Frank touched millions with her powerful account of the Holocaust, Ruby Bridges helped end segregation in the United States, and, most recently, Charlie Simpson helped to raise 120,000 pounds for Haiti on his little bike. So, as you can see evidenced by such examples, age has absolutely nothing to do with it. The traits the word childish addresses are seen so often in adults that we should abolish this age-discriminatory word when it comes to criticizing behavior associated with irresponsibility and irrational thinking. (Applause) Thank you. Then again, who's to say that certain types of irrational thinking aren't exactly what the world needs? Maybe you've had grand plans before, but stopped yourself, thinking: That's impossible or that costs too much or that won't

Michael Jackson was born in August 1958. So was I. Michael Jackson grew up in the suburbs of the Midwest. So did I. Michael Jackson had eight brothers and sisters. So do I. When Michael Jackson was six, he became a superstar, and was perhaps the world's most beloved child. When I was six, my mother died. I think he got the shorter end of the stick. I never had a mother, but he never had a childhood. And when you never get to have something, you become obsessed by it. I spent my childhood searching for my mother’s figures. sometimes I was successful, but how do you recreate your chilidhood when you are under the magnifying glass of the world for your entire life. There is no question that Michael Jackson was one of the greatest talents the world has ever known. That when he sang a song at the ripe old age of eight he could make you feel like an experienced adult was squeezing your heart with his words. That when he moved he had the elegance of Fred Astaire and packed the punch of Muhammad Ali. That his music had an extra layer of inexplicable magic that didn’t just make you want to dance but actually made you believe you could fly, dare to dream, be anything that you wanted to be. Because that is what heroes do and Michael Jackson was a hero. He performed in soccer stadiums around the world, and sold hundreds of millions of records and dined with prime ministers and presidents. Many people may choose to give up. However, the surest way to success is to keep your direction and stick to your goal. On your way to success, you must keep your direction. It is just like a lamp, guiding you in darkness and helping you overcome obstacles on your way. Otherwise, you will easily get lost or hesitate to go ahead. Direction means objectives. You can get nowhere without an objective in life. You can try to write your objective on paper and make some plans to achieve it. In this way, you will know how to arrange your time and to spend your time properly. And you should also have a belief that you are sure to succeed as long as you keep your direction all the time.

Chief Justice Rehnquist, President Carter, President Bush, President Clinton, distinguished guests and my fellow citizens, the peaceful transfer of authority is rare in history, yet common in our country. With a simple oath, we affirm old traditions and make new beginnings. As I begin, I thank President Clinton for his service to our nation. And I thank Vice President Gore for a contest conducted with spirit and ended with grace. I am honored and humbled to stand here, where so many of America’s leaders have come before me, and so many will follow. We have a place, all of us, in a long story -- a story we continue, but whose end we will not see. It is the story of a new world that became a friend and liberator of the old, a story of a slave-holding society that became a servant of freedom, the story of a power that went into the world to protect but not possess, to defend but not to conquer.

林肯在葛底斯堡的演说(中英对照) Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address (on Nov.19,1863) Four score and seven years ago, our fathers brought forth upon this continent a new nation, conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal. Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation, so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure. We are met on a great battle field of the war. We have come to dedicate a portion of the field as the final resting-place of those who here gave their lives that that nation might live. It is altogether fitting and proper that we should do this. But , in a larger sense, we cannot dedicate, we cannot consecrate, we cannot hallow, this ground. The brave men, living and dead, who struggled here, have consecrated it, far above our power to add or to detract. The world will little note nor long remember what we say here, but it can never forget what they did here. It is for us, the living, rather, to be dedicated here, to the unfinished work which they who fought

GETTYSBURG ADDRESS Abraham Lincoln Delivered on the 19th Day of November, 1863 Cemetery Hill, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania Fourscore and seven years ago, our fathers brought forth upon this continenta new Nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition thatall men are created equal. I'm very happy here,to be here, tonight,on the Manu's night, I'm so happy for you, well deserved, well deserved. Before i start though,i want to set the record with Argentina, because,as to Argentina media,Argentina, because you know we have a rough beginning where Manu and i first started my career, whole Argentina was mad at me because they think i dont pass the ball to Manu, that i never pass the ball to Manu. I can never really understand that because Pop made the plays,he called the plays. And its not my fault he called all the plays for Timmy, and Timmy took all the shots. I'm just a point guard, especially my first two years, but i think we did really good, win the best trio in the NBA history, playoff wins, so 132wins i think we did ok. So,i just wanna tell Argentina, i still love you, but thank god, Pop made you come off the bench so get you mad at pop so then i was good, then i was good. So its 3things i want to tell you Manu, first time i saw you play,i was 18years old, and when i think about you, its how unique you were as a player, there's no other word i can find an describe you, you just was unique, nobody is like you in the whole history of the game, you were so unique, that even Pop didn't know what to do with you the first two years. It was priceless to see Pop's face when Manu made a pass, cuz with Manu is two pass, you have a legend pass that everybody would talk about of what a unbelievable pass, and the stands to the fan's pass. And at the begining of my
