小学英语课本剧表演的实践与研究 发表时间:2014-05-27T16:22:10.077Z 来源:《教育学文摘》2014年3月总第116供稿作者:翟元祯 [导读] 学生评价不仅可以培养学生良好的观察力和注意力,也能培养学生客观评价他人的能力。也许他们的评价语比教师的更丰富。翟元祯山东省淄博市张店区城中小学255000 摘要:英语课本剧表演适合小学生的身心特点和英语教学的情境要求, 以生动活泼的故事为依托,充分挖掘学生的各种潜能,演绎缤纷课堂,为小学英语课堂增添新的活力。有利于小学生综合运用英语能力的培养,在小学英语教学中有很大的应用价值。本文拟从课本剧表演在小学英语教学中的优势及在课堂实践中出现的问题及改进措施等方面进行初步探讨。 关键词:小学英语教学课本剧表演实践研究 《新课程标准》的教学策略强调要加强学生的语言综合运用能力,让学生能在真实的环境中自如地运用语言。因此,在我们的小学英语课堂中表演是一种实现这一任务的有效的教学手段。在表演过程中,学生积极运用语言,体现了对语言的内化和综合,体现了学生之间的合作,在表演中学生也体验到了成功和自信。 课本剧表演即让学生在教师指导下,通过表演形象地呈现语言材料的一种方法。它是以教室为舞台,表演题材和教材紧密联系,表演是教学生的一种生动的教学形式。课本剧在教学中的使用是弥补语言环境不足的重要方法,它拓宽了学生用外语思维的空间,创设了灵活使用语言的氛围,其表演就是让学生扮演不同的角色,深入故事,体验生活,逐渐培养综合运用英语的能力,是一种深受学生们欢迎的教学方法。 一、课本剧表演在小学英语教学中的优势 1.激发兴趣,学以致用。 小学生生性好动,喜欢模仿,爱表演。教学中课本剧表演可以为其找搭建表演的平台,创设一个英语学习和运用的情景,使学生在此情景中运用自己已学过的语言知识和技能,表演剧中人物,或者扮演生活中所熟悉的角色。这样既能满足小学展示自己学习成果的心理需要,激发其学习英语的兴趣,又能提高其自主学习的能力;同时使学生在课本剧表演过程中,学会运用所学的英语知识的技能,并在运用中得到巩固和拓展。 2.在表演情境中学会分享与合作。 学生在各类课本剧表演的创作、排演和最后演出中,都要经历学生和老师的相互交流。学生组成分工合作的小组,在整个过程中相互合作、讨论、分工、评价,有利于他们相互沟通和协调,培养学生良好品格;学生中擅长表演的,就当演员或导演;擅长图画的,可以布置情景;善于写作的,负责文本的编写和改编;手工好的,可以负责道具的制作,通过这种相互配合协调,增强了学生良好的人际互动,在整个过程中培养了学生处理问题的能力和统筹安排管理的能力。 二、课本剧在表演过程中常出现的低效现象 1.表演只给教师看。 台上表演的学生尽心表演,台下学生却在开小差。没上台的学生急于准备,无心听讲,表演完的学生放松了,在座位上窃窃私语,所以认真观看表演的学生不多,似乎只是给教师看的,也影响了表演者的心情。 2.表演形式比较单一。 表演的内容基本是课文内容的模仿表演,学生的表演如出一辙,而且有的学生只是对着课本照本宣科,千篇一律的内容,很容易让学生失去兴趣。 三、结合以上现象采取的改进措施 1.把评价的机会留给学生。 学生评价不仅可以培养学生良好的观察力和注意力,也能培养学生客观评价他人的能力。也许他们的评价语比教师的更丰富。 2.给学生明确任务。 让学生带着任务听,学生会有指向明确的目标,容易激活思维。 3.给学生录像或拍照。 学生在表演过程中通过录像和拍照的形式把它记录下来,然后回放给学生,学习别人的优点,在录制的过程中学生会非常有趣的认真做好。 4.学生表演可以尽情发挥。 可以改编课文内容,给学生更多创新运用语言的机会。比如在表演《It’s big and light.》这一课时,学生准备的道具书包和课本的不太一样,她会把内容改成自己书包的特点:This red one is light. And it’s got three pockets.有的学生最后还有补充买卖的过程。How much is it? Fourty Yuan,please.自己加的内容反而更精彩。 5.鼓励学生准备道具。 学生喜欢课文表演,自然而然会用心去准备。《Library》这个模块表演时,学生自己用纸制作的光盘和借书证当道具,有的学生还贴上书架编号,非常形象。如果没有合适的实物展示,有的学生还会自己画出来。制作的过程也是非常有乐趣的。 6.组建英语社团。 这学期还开展了“快乐英语吧”社团活动,以激发学生学习英语的兴趣。英语课本剧表演是社团活动之一。这样就要专门的时间让学生进行创编,排演课本剧,留给学生更多创新发展的空间。 表演是小学英语课堂教学中非常重要的语言运用途径之一。教师从学生的表演中能了解学生对所学语言的掌握程度和真实运用语言的能力,还能看出学生间的合作能力和相互评价能力。如果课堂中教师能培养学生良好的学习习惯,关注表演的每个学生,合理利用表演形式,设计合理的内容,充分发挥学生的评价作用,让所有的学生都参与进来,这样的表演才是让学生真正受益的活动。
